For those that aren’t friends with me on Facebook, we found out today that we’re having a beautiful baby GIRL! We are so shocked because we were both convinced that it was a boy…but nope, it’s definitely a girl! She is wonderful and perfect and she has nice long legs like her daddy… FUTURE MARATHONER! WOOHOO! :)

In 2009, I weighed 213 pounds and decided to become a runner. Over the course of 14 months, I lost 80 pounds and started running in half marathons. Now, I'm starting another journey in my life - motherhood - all the while still running, living a healthy lifestyle, and juggling everything on top of it all!

Just read the news on facebook this morning! woo hoo! so excited for you...makes it seem more real now that you know who that little person is tumbling around inside you, doesn't it?? How very exciting for you and D!
Congrats! But I will tell you that certain little manly body parts can be hiding. My nephew was supposed to be a girl. His mom even had a sonogram days before she delivered and the doctor said he'd never gotten it wrong yet. Surprise to them all!
Yay!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!! Now the fun begins.....ha!
